GOAL:
get 18 points
CONTROLS:
hold right mouse: tooltip
arrow keys: move
number keys: load bullet
spacebar: fire gun
w/d: rotate widdershins/deosil
n: start a new game
left mouse: move/load bullet/fire gun
That's all you need to start playing. If you want all the details they are included below. Remember you can right click on anything in the game to get info on it.
GENERAL GAME INFO:
picking up bullets or upgrades gives you 1 point and partially changes the map
the number 1-9 indicates your health
uppercase/lowercase indicates enemy health
enemies spawn every 18 turns
enemy attacks do 2 damage
bullets do 1 damage
you can move your gun on top of enemies but not walls
recoil from firing moves you back 1 space
once you start reloading you must continue until you've filled all empty slots or are out of bullets
shooting a bullet will identify its effect
bullets 4-6 have multiple possible effects, when you fire 1 of the effects is randomly chosen
ENEMIES:
Ä starts with 4 health
B leaves a bomb (*) on death
f acts twice as fast, attack half as damaging
S attack rotates you 90 degrees widdershins
R leaves bullets on death
≡ enemy spawn
BULLET EFFECTS:
bouncy bounces 90 degrees off walls (#)
cloner clones target
encase encase in walls (#)
lethal very damaging
linker fires 2 more shots
pierce bullet continues after hit
speedy shoots without taking a turn
stubby range = 1
summon summons enemies
switch switch shooter and target
blast▓ damaging explosion knocks down walls (#), area of effect radius = 3
brawl▓ targets fight among themselves, area of effect radius = 3
gluey▓ change terrain to gluey (;), area of effect radius = 3
regen▓ regenerate to full health, area of effect radius = 5
sleep▓ fall asleep until damaged / explosion / gunshot, area of effect radius = 3
spawn▓ transform to spawn, area of effect radius = 2
UPGRADES:
~ blink in gun direction when damaged
! reloading causes bullets to change effects
@ fire without first loading bullets
$ bigger area of effects
% rotating doesn't take a turn
& bullets use all effects rather than randomly choosing one
( spawns only appear when points are gained
) can take at most 1 damage per turn
_ bullets use effects in order rather than randomly choosing one
+ all shots have the additional effect of whatever bullet is indicated by the color
TERRAIN:
. empty floor

· gives you 3 bullets
Pressing [ will give you an upgrade which makes your shots use the effects of all bullets when fired. Use it wisely.
